I take great pride in the relationships I build and I work tenaciously on my clients’ behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals. I also seek to connect everyone I know with people in my network who can help them achieve goals in their lives outside of real estate.

My philosophy is simple: savvy stewardship. I take my responsibility as a fiduciary agent to the next level. I am an advocate for my clients’ rights and real estate goals, negotiating on their behalf and finding creative win-win solutions.

 

I pledge to be in constant communication with my clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. I believe that if you’re not left with an amazing experience, I haven’t done my job. Despite my credentials, I don’t measure success through achievements or awards, but through the satisfaction of my clients.

 

I want to be the go-to real estate resource for my current and former clients, alumni association members, neighbors, family, friends, fellow homeschool families and all of the people to whom those power partners refer me with the confidence that I will provide exceptional service.

Still curious?  Here is the tooting of my horn “About Me” section:

My real estate career began in 2005 when I obtained my CPA license and immediately realized that, despite my affinity for understanding the financial impact of transactions, I had achieved a credentialing goal that would enable me to continue working as a Corporate Financial Analyst / Accountant / Auditor … professions for which I had no passion. So in the same year, I got my Real Estate Salesperson license, completed a Project Management certification program (planning to go into the then hot world of real estate development), and enrolled in the MBA program at The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. That education gave me a breadth of real estate knowledge from multi-family development to commercial asset management, yet my passion remained on the residential side of the business where I could directly help and impact the lives of individual clients and families.

 

While at Penn, I marketed my services to incoming graduate school students and relocating professors, becoming the in-house go-to student liaison for property management companies since most of my clients chose to lease. I helped a brave handful of incoming students purchase a home, then sell or rent out their properties at the conclusion of their studies.  After graduating from the MBA program with concentrations in Real Estate and Marketing, I got my MRS (i.e., got hitched), moved to Orange County, obtained my California Real Estate Broker’s license and chose to live, work, and volunteer in multiple communities in order to learn and be able to communicate to clients the unique attributes of each city.

 

I love working homebuyers and sellers (including multi-family portfolio investors) in South County and also helping clients throughout Orange County that are referred to me.  I use my extensive network of real estate professionals to serve non-local clientele in other parts of Southern California, across the U.S. and around the world by connecting buyers and sellers to expert agents in their local markets.

 

My husband, Doug, and I live in Dana Point with our two children. In addition to being a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor, a Marine Corps veteran, a former elementary school counselor, and a 16-year veteran of the Philadelphia Fire Department (forever a Fire-fighter/ Ladderman and EMT in his heart), Doug takes the lead on homeschooling our children and encourages me to pursue with passion all of the dreams I have to help people achieve their real estate goals, knowing that helping others achieve their goals will inevitably help us achieve ours.

 

Our “Mini-He” has Doug’s vibrant, energetic, charismatic personality with my face and “Mini-Me” (our daughter) has Doug’s features combined with my attention to detail, calming nature, and desire to connect / build meaningful relationships.  The kids are teaching Doug and I how to follow their lead to enrich their world as we continue our homeschooling journey.  The current focus is on Mandarin, which they learn at a school in Irvine a few mornings each week, and Spanish which they learn from their babysitter when Doug and I check out the local music and performing arts scenes on date nights. 

 

I make a concerted effort to participate in events hosted by the organizations in which I am a member or volunteer including Festival of the Arts/ Pageant of the Masters (Doug is also a volunteer and was cast as Louis Armstrong our first year),  OCMBA, Wharton Club of Southern California, Penn Club LA, UD LA Alumni Club, HeartLink Women’s Network, OC Networkers, Estate Managers Coalition, Cal-Earth Institute, Orange County Board of Realtors, Giveback Homes, Habitat for Humanity: Women Build, and the classic rock / contemporary jazz BAND IN WHICH I AM A VOCALIST: BURDEN OF GROOVE.  HERE’S A CLIP OF US PERFORMING at a client appreciation event I hosted at my former office: 

 

My family’s dream home has at least two of the following attributes;  

The top four happen to mirror my specialties:

1) Ocean view

2) A dedicated ancillary space with a separate entrance (CasitaIn-law suite, Home-office)

3) Courtyard

4) Multi-family property (2-4 units) to generate rental income and/or accommodate extended family members. 

5) Made of earth. This would most likely be a second home inland, out of state, or international.  Here’s an example: Cal-Earth Institute
